Spend weekend, brisk walking at the new park at Bidadari. Bidadari used to be a cemetery but now becomes a housing estate with a park. Singapore is a very small country, we do not have enough land for the living so many cemeteries were exhumed.
Way before Bidadari is a cemetery, it used to be a private land belongs to some rich people.

The new Bidadari Park is nice for brisk walking and jogging and exercising. There were many tall trees that provided shades.
In the middle of the park is a lake , is a huge rain tree. The lake served as a storm water retention pond.
During heavy rain, the lake area will be closed to public.
The park looked small but is actually quite a nice place to jog. Haha we found many coins (about S$2) on the pavement, I guess the coins were dropped by joggers.
There's a nice playground in the park.
Children loved watching the fishes in the lower marshland.
Nearest MRT Station to Bidadari Park is Woodleigh MRT Station.
